Hello,
Welcome to our blog.
Here at TPP we do love an Irish long-distance trail. We’re not too fussy but we do like it to be point-to-point and anything from a couple of days up to a whole month. But what we also like to do is send people on their way, to let them discover the parts of Ireland that other walkers do not reach and make sure they have a great time in the process.
On our website you’ll find all the practical stuff concerned with doing the trail; booking the baggage moves, accommodation etc. But in this blog we’ll be bringing you our tips for the top about getting along the trails. We’ll bring you the dos and don’ts (if we think you don’t know them already), there will be details of extra incentives to get you out there such as local festivals or events and any pertinent news from the trails, in fact anything we think you might find useful.
Nothing has us shaking our heads in frustration like an overdone or poor tourist attraction, two guys with guitars limply singing ‘Dirty Old Town’ for the umpteenth time that week is not Traditional Irish music, so we’ll be hunting out lesser known tourist attractions and anything that we find authentic as well.
But as they say on that well known walking movie Spinal Tap, ‘Enough of our yakking, let’s boogie’.
