We move bags for walkers and cyclists along long distance routes of Ireland

We’ve been moving bags since 2008 and nothing gives us greater pleasure than helping another walker or cyclist finish a long distance route, be it an organized route or self-made, especially when we’ve moved their bags for them!

Whether you’re an autumnal mud-lark, a completer-finisher or a fair weather weekender we’re here to move your bags, lighten your load and allow you to make the most of your day.

We start collecting bags at 9.30am (9.00 from Killarney in peak months) and don’t stop until we’ve dropped off the bags on the route. We know that everyone likes to arrive ahead after their bags so our aim is to be done by 3.30pm.

So don’t confine yourself to going around in circles, take the easy way by booking your bag moves with The Pathway Porter

Welcome to 2018

There will be a whole load of Star Wars related marketing coming your way for Ireland this year. We can’t take you to the stars but we promise to stretch your horizons as we bring you luggage transfers from Cork to Westport. In addition to the vans serving the Dingle and Kerry Ways it means we can offer services along the Beara, Burren and Western Ways. Those under pedal power can dream up your own itinerary and really put your endurance to the test. Choose your stops and ask us for a quote. Our vehicles will be ferrying bags everyday so you can be assured of our usual excellent service and as the people moving are the same each day you can be sure they’ll take great care of your belongings.

Accommodation Booking

We principally move luggage but thanks to that we generally know where everyone is AND we know how good they are.
If you’re keen on planning your own itinerary but don’t have the time to book the accommodation or are a bit lost with the addresses (We know how vague they can be!) then out booking service is for you.

Arrive Informed!

Keep in touch with all the goings on via our Facebook and Twitter pages.

Your phone or camera memory will be bulging with photos after a trip into the Irish countryside. Spectacular views, new friends you’ll make en-route and that Trad session that popped up out of nowhere.

Get a flavour of what’s to come or keep in touch by joining our Facebook page where we post up anything from a ‘hall of fame’ photo for those finishing a walk to a spectacular sunset. The page carries lots of details for past trips so plunge in for some inspiration.
